ISLAMABAD – A three-member team from Pakistan is expected to leave for Britain to investigate the murder of Muttaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq.
According to local media reports, the team is expected to leave the country by May 15 to carry on the investigation into the murder of the Muttahida leader.
In a separate development, a two-member team of the Scotland Yard arrived here Saturday and handed over the deceased’s death certificate to theFederal Investigative Agency (FIA).
Imran Farooq, 50, was stabbed and beaten to death in Edgware, northwest London, as he returned home from work on September 16, 2010.
